Position GM Sales, Global
Base LocationBangalore, will involve travel globally

  • Responsible for new business development involving prospect development, understanding business and technology scenario and needs, identifying opportunities, solution offerings and business case to the client, involvement in preparation of proposals and final negotiation and closure.
  • Adept in developing sales plan, identification of opportunities, bidding, and winning opportunities for building IT solutions in accordance with pre-defined quality and financial goals.
  • New Business acquisition in the Retail / BFSI / Healthcare domain with good network in USA and Europe.
  • Responsible for relationship building, account management and mining of new clients.
  • Achieve set target in terms of revenue, profitability and other result areas.
  • Interface with Presales, Consulting and Development functions for realizing strategic objectives.
  • Forming alliance with leading technology vendors.
  • Leveraging company's existing relationships and generating business prospects.
  • Identify industries, companies with potential sales opportunities in the territory.
  • Assist in eliciting and specifying high-level business requirement specifications of the client for proposal preparation and project plan to the offshore delivery team.
  • Interface between development and implementation team and the client for reasons of client satisfaction.

Primary Skills:

  • BE, MBA in Marketing with 10 - 15 years of experience in the global software industry, ranging from business development, sales, and relationship management.
  • Proven ability to independently develop pipeline and execute prospect accounts penetration strategy.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage large contracts.
  • Major account management / mining and skills in relationship-building/ networking.

Secondary Skills:

  • Should possess good marketing Knowledge.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • US/Europe sales exposure.
  • Willingness to travel extensively when required.
  • Should possess strong business management and facilitation skills.
