Job Description

  • Domain expert in 'Retailing'.
  • Responsible for generating $ 2 Million of new business from IT outsourcing contracts from retail companies (Indian & Global).
  • Will provide leadership to build a strong vertically focused retail sales force.
  • The candidate will be measured on the new named accounts opened and the margins generated as a result of the new sales initiative.
  • The candidate will be responsible for building the retail practice from scratch and also for designing new service offering under the retail domain.
  • Handling pre-sales & business development in the Retail Practice area.
  • Managing the P&L of the Retail Practice.

Desired Profile

  • Graduate Engineer preferably with Post-graduate in Management.
  • Candidates having 12+ years of experience in similar area.
  • Candidates implementing IT solutions in Retail Industry with excellent knowledge of Retail business may also be considered.
  • The candidate should have excellent networking with the who's who in the Indian Retail market.
  • Profit centre and cross functional exposure would be an added advantage
  • Self-starter & a Go-getter with a can-do attitude
  • Should have strong presentation skills, qualification, negotiation and closing skills with a consistent record of success in previous positions
  • Experience and ability to interface with senior client executives.
  • Clear understanding of the offshore delivery processes is required.
  • Ability to lead and build a strong sales team
  • Good interpersonal, cross-cultural leadership skills
  • Ability to generate, communicate, and justify client value propositions to executives
  • Effective in negotiating and managing client interfaces for complex contracts and large outsourcing projects.
  • Experience and ability to confidently engage at C-level executives in client organizations.
  • Experience in assessing client requirements and synthesizing viable outsourcing solutions.
  • Experience in working within cross functional teams to deliver a client solution
  • Technical ability to fully comprehend the challenges and needs of a potential retail client.
